This is more easily achieved with some subjects than others, but EuroPictura will always strive to give you that little extra 'something' in the imagery.

Using state of the art digital cameras from top of the range manufacturers, clients are certain to get detailed, top quality results, capable of reproduction to poster size, or reduction for web or graphical use by their own art departments.

History

The principal (John Baker) has been involved in photography and video since the late 50's. With a background in conservation, protection, microfilm and technical copy work, he is also experienced in the specialist handling of rare collections.

He has a degree in computing and another in multimedia, and coupled with many years experience in both creative and commercial business environments, his experience comes together to provide an all-round service that not only offers a collection of some 30,000 images, but video footage and media scanning services too.

Based in Scotland, EuroPictura's range of specialist images and video footage covers the UK and Europe. The company shoots all of its own images and digital video footage. This way you can be assured of the source and copyright ownership.

ART AND GRAPHICS FOR ILLUSTRATION
EuroPictura does have links with third parties for the sale of images of art works. This is to allow you to have something different in terms of imagery, and although supplied as a digital image, the art is either of art subjects (such as public domain statues), or is taken direct from the artists work using high quality professional digital cameras.

A Word On Licensing

EuroPictura is flexible in its approach to licensing. As the company owns all of the image and video copyright, they are free to assign whatever rights of use are required and agreed with the client.
